Regular classes

All classes are in south-east Cambridge.

The classes run weekly during term times. I aim to make my classes accessible to all . Therefore classes are small ( 15 or less) , so there is time for suitable adjustments and modifications. Attention is paid to alignment of the body in asana and time is taken to encourage a mindful approach. The style of yoga I teach is best described as gentle Hatha.

Wednesday mornings, 9.30 - 11am Friends Meeting House, Hartington Grove,

Cambridge, CB1 7UB  (January 19 - this class is currently full)

Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs

I  run this course in my home studio with a maximum of 4 people on either a Monday or Wednesday evening.

This is a specialist 12 week yoga programme shown to relieve chronic lower back pain. Cost £240 (£20 per class) for 12 x 90 minute weekly classes. Please see for more details of this evidence based yoga programme. Booking essential. Please leave a message on guestbook page if you are interested.

Thursday evenings, Beginners class 6 -7.15pm. General class 7.30 - 9pm, Lichfield Hall Community Centre, Lichfield Road, Cambridge, CB1 3 TF

Friday mornings at St. James' Church, Wulfstan Way, Cambridge CB1 8QJ. There are 2 classes. 8 -9.30am is for intermediate students. 9.45 -11.15am is a general class suitable for all abilities. January 19 - the second class is currently full.

All venues have car and bike parking. Classes are £10 each payable per term block (usually between 10 - 14 weeks). If you are new to yoga or my classes you are welcome to try one or two classes on a pay-as-you-go basis but I do not run my lessons as drop-in sessions. I have an arrangement whereby if you miss a class one week you are welcome to make that class up by attending another. This could be taken at anytime in a half term block. Concessions are available and more flexible payment options (see latest news page for these). Please email or speak to me about concessionary rate.

I can also run very small classes for up to four people or one to one lessons in my home studio. For more information, please contact by the guestbook page.

Notes for New Students:

  • For safety, I will ask you to complete a short, confidential health questionnaire before class. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of your first class in order to do this.
  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing (layers are best). No tight belts.
  • Allow 1-2 hours after eating before practising yoga.
  • Please bring a blanket, yoga mat, block and belt if you have these. If you do not, I have spares.
